BruCode LLC is an independent mobile app company founded by two business students in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We build modern sports experiences fans actually love.
We obsess over details most companies overlook. Every screen, every interaction, every word of copy is deliberate. Quality isn't negotiable.
We move with urgency. Real products in the hands of real users — not endless planning cycles. Learning from customers beats guessing in a room.
We're sports fans who got tired of mediocre apps. We build the experiences we always wanted — because we know exactly what's missing.
We didn't wait for permission. We saw a market gap, formed an LLC, and started building.
BruCode LLC began as a question: why don't any sports apps feel truly premium? Drew and Dylan Bruinsma — brothers, business students, and lifelong sports fans — decided to stop asking and start answering.
As business students, they understood what most student developers miss: it's not enough to build a good product. You have to understand the market, the user, and the business model. That combination — strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution — is what makes BruCode different.
"We treat this like the real company it is. Not a side project, not a class assignment — a business we're committed to growing long after we graduate."
HeatScore launched on the App Store as the company's first product: live scores, interactive player cards, rankings, and sports trivia in one polished experience. Every feature, every pixel, every word — built by the two of us from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This is the beginning of a larger portfolio. More apps, more categories, more fans served. The mission is simple: build the sports app company the market actually deserves.
Business student turned self-taught iOS developer. Drew leads company strategy, product development, and technical architecture. He manages everything from the App Store listing to the Swift codebase — proof that business students can build too.
Business student with a sharp eye for design and user experience. Dylan leads product direction, visual identity, and customer research — ensuring every BruCode app feels premium from the first interaction. He translates market insight into experiences fans actually enjoy.
